My client, a prominent FMCG products supplier and manufacturer based in Gloucester, is seeking a Head of Purchasing.
The role involves implementing supply chain processes, managing suppliers, and negotiating agreements, requiring previous management and procurement experience.
Candidates should have an understanding of the FMCG market and be proficient in data interpretation and Excel.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7:45 am to 4:30 pm and Friday from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm.

The Role

Implementation of supply chain processes
SIOP (sales, inventory, operations, planning)
Supplier management strategy
Negotiation of supply chain agreements
Budgets & reporting
Analysis of buying costs
Continuous improvement
Manage & train supply chain team
Sourcing & Vendor management

The Candidate

Previous experience in management
Previous experience in sourcing & procurement
Understanding of the FMCG market
Proficient in data interpretation
Proficient in excel
