An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Audit Senior with3 years audit and team management experience to join a well-established accountancy firm. This role offers excellent benefits, hybrid working option and a competitive salary.

As an Audit Senior, you will oversee audits, guide junior staff, and manage a variety of client accounts, ensuring all work is completed within deadlines and budgets.

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide guidance and ensure the adoption of appropriate accounting practices in the production of financial information.
  • Prepare statutory financial statements for limited companies, as well as accounts for partnerships and sole traders.
  • Oversee and support junior staff, ensuring effective team management and development.
  • Liaise with clients and HMRC, maintaining and developing strong client relationships through written communication and face-to-face meetings.
  • Manage client portfolios and handle ad hoc duties in line with business requirements.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as an Audit Senior, Audit Supervisor, Audit Semi Senior or in a similar role.
  • At least 3 years audit and team management experience in a UK accountancy practice.
  • Background in delivering of external audit and accounting services.
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or an exceptional finalist.
  • Excellent analytical and research skills
  • Skilled in ProAudit, Sage Accounts Production and Xero would be preferred.
