Our client is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual with sales experience to join their team. This role focuses on driving growth, supporting the team, and exceeding targets collaboratively. It is a fully office-based role, emphasising the importance of a strong team dynamic to maximise sales for both new and existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing existing customer accounts
- Actively seeking new leads and opportunities
- Responding quickly to enquiries via phone, email, or internal referrals, ensuring a great customer experience
- Carrying out sales admin tasks such as preparing quotes, maintaining systems, managing product information, and keeping price lists up-to-date
- Liaising with the sales staff internally and extenally to achieve sales targets
- Joining External Sales Managers and Directors for customer visits and meetings (typically once a month) to build strong, lasting relationships
- Reaching out to potential and current customers regularly, showcasing our services and products to drive sales
- Regularly reviewing your performance against sales targets and KPIs, reporting progress in weekly updates and daily check-ins with your Line Manager
- Building strong connections with suppliers during office visits or phone calls, staying up-to-date with industry developments
- Working closely with other departments to ensure smooth processes and excellent customer service
- Taking part in product, system, and sales training, collaborating with External Sales staff, senior managers, and suppliers to stay sharp and effective
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, ideally within the trade industry
- Previous experience with quoting and invoicing
- Previous experience with upselling and cross-selling
- Strong communication
- Self-motivated
- Thrives in a busy environment
