Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Practitioner

We can offer our staff full time roles over either 4 or 5 days per week, based on what works for you. We can also discuss part time/job share positions (2 or 3 full days) for qualified staff.

We currently have an opportunity for 2 staff to join our team at our Outstanding rated children’s day nursery and preschool in Godalming, near to the train station (6 minute train from Guildford) and right by the main high street. Successful candidates can either be unqualified (with some childcare experience), Level 2 or Level 3 qualified.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the staff and management in providing the highest level of support and learning
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive environment for the children
  • Observations and write ups on children's development
  • Making the most of the beautiful surroundings by using our fully equipped garden and taking the children on day trips to local parks, farms and more

The ideal Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Practitioner will;

  • Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe
  • Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five
  • Hold a minimum level 2 childcare qualification (highly desirable)
  • Have a good understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages)
  • Be able to work well in a team
