Our clients are a highly successful Chartered Wealth Management firm based near Guildford who require a technical Paraplanner to join the team. They require an experienced individual who can hit the ground running.

They provide independent financial advice, planning and guidance to individuals, as well as supporting corporate clients with employee benefits solutions and company specific financial advice.

They have over 25 advisors so you will be joining a very well established team.

Paraplanner:

To provide high quality financial planning support to Financial Advisers in accordance with FCA standards and Chartered Code of Ethics, representing the company in a professional manner with honesty and integrity at all times.

Primarily constructing both recommendations and technical reports (reasons why & suitability letters) and includes some researching and processing of the more technical matters through to implementation/dispatch.

  • Liaising with policy providers for policy details, obtaining policy illustrations, processing new business applications, tracking to completion as well as liaising directly with clients.
  • Ensuring that our client information database is accurate at all times.
  • Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge.
  • Maintaining positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and communicating in a confident and friendly manner.
  • Having a client-focused approach and ensuring our clients are at the centre of everything we do.

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years Paraplanning experience.
  • To be qualified to Level 4 or above.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of pensions, investments and estate planning.
  • Be articulate in both verbal and written communication.
