Salaried Partner / Senior Associate (Private Client)

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Private Client Solicitor to join our esteemed firm as a Salaried Partner. With a legacy of 100 years of exceptional service, our firm is a cornerstone of the community, known for our outstanding reputation and commitment to client care. This opportunity has arisen due to the retirement of a valued partner, and we are looking for a professional who can uphold our standards and contribute to our continued growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide strategic leadership and management to the Private Client team, ensuring the highest standards of service and client care.
  • Client Relations: Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, offering expert advice on a range of private client matters.
  • Legal Expertise: Handle complex cases involving powers of attorney, deputyships, Court of Protection matters (including statutory wills), and managing the affairs of incapacitated or vulnerable clients.
  • Estate Planning: Advise on and manage wills, trusts, and estate administration, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
  • Business Development: Contribute to the growth and development of the firm by identifying new business opportunities and enhancing our service offerings.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and support junior solicitors and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of seven years post-qualification experience (PQE) in private client law, with a proven track record of handling complex cases.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership and management abilities, with experience in mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Client Focus: Strong commitment to client care and community service, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
