We are seeking a Residential Conveyancing Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial support to our conveyancing fee earners. This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in residential conveyancing, looking to work in a supportive and dynamic office environment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide administrative support including managing correspondence, scheduling appointments, and maintaining files.
  • Draft and proofread legal documents related to residential conveyancing transactions.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties to ensure smooth communication and transaction progression.
  • Open, maintain, and close client files in accordance with firm policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct property searches, submit land registry applications, and handle mortgage redemptions.
  • Utilize case management systems to track and update the status of conveyancing transactions.
  • Ensure all activities comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a residential conveyancing role is essential.
