English Teacher (Supply) - Godalming

Role Overview:

As an English Teacher (Supply), you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will be responsible for maintaining a stimulating classroom atmosphere, ensuring all students reach their full potential. This position involves stepping in for regular staff absences, requiring adaptability and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach the National Curriculum and other programmes of study, adapting lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with SEND.
• Create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning and student participation.
• Develop and deliver exciting, challenging, and differentiated lessons.
• Provide regular, constructive feedback to students in line with the school's Assessment for Learning policy.
• Track student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement effective intervention strategies.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, parents, and other professionals.
• Contribute to the development of teaching materials and schemes of work.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school.
• Uphold the school's Health and Safety guidelines and comply with all school policies.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
