The Client
Our client are a proud champion offarm-to-fork cooking and local produce.
With a new venture opening in June 2025 the client is opening a Custom Made Bakery in a stunning location
The Role
The custom made Bakery will be a year round operation, looking to supply bread to other local businesses and farmers markets. The unit will look to serve and sellcoffee and baked goods all day fro the site and adjacent kitchen. The client will also be be extending to serve a hot breakfast options, and a succinct lunch offering. The commercail bakery however will be at the heart of the the new concept. The business will have the aim to be a market leader in Artisanal bakeries in the surrounding areas.
Requirements
As Head Baker the client are looking for someone with sour dough experience ideally working in a specialist bakery, The client would like to find someone with some lamination and or pasty experience too. Preferably an ideal candidate would have some experience running a bakery business, or be looking to take on an administrative roll for the business.
Requirements
The successful Head Baker should additionally have the following:
In-depth understanding of volume, quality restaurant kitchen operations
Be Passionate about food, drink and the hospitality industry
Awareness of and adherence to Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
