Audit Manager

We are on the lookout for a skilled Audit Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audits and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial statements. This role is perfect for a qualified accountant who is experienced in audit practices and is looking to take on a challenging role in a dynamic environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Lead and manage audit engagements with a diverse client base across various industry sectors.
  • Ensure audits are completed in compliance with all statutory requirements and professional standards.
  • Provide clear and concise reports on audit findings directly to the divisional head.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively, adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering exceptional service and understanding their business needs.
  • Work independently, applying critical thinking to review financial records and reports thoroughly.
  • Lead and collaborate with a dedicated team, promoting a supportive and productive work environment.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry changes and ensure the team’s continuous professional development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Practice, with a strong focus on audit.
  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA) or in the final stages of obtaining your qualification.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time and budgets effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with IRIS software is beneficial, but not essential as training will be provided.
  • A proactive mindset with the ambition to progress within the Practice.
