Our client are a renowned name in the construction and infrastructure industry, is currently seeking a Sub Agent to join their team on a contract basis. This role is pivotal in the successful delivery of highway projects, ensuring all works are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and supervising site operations to ensure project delivery meets timelines and specifications
- Coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, including method statements and risk assessments
- Providing technical support and guidance to site staff
- Maintaining accurate records of site activities and ensuring all relevant information is communicated to the project team
- Ensuring quality control measures are implemented and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle
- Managing subcontractors and ensuring their work aligns with project requirements
Job Requirements:
- Experience in a Sub Agent role within the highway sector
- Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Proactive approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks effectively
- Engineering degree or equivalent qualification preferred
