Position

We wish to recruit a Deputy Manager at our Snaith service which has been running since March 2020.

Within this role, you will support the Registered Manager in taking responsibility for all aspects of developing and managing the service.

You will need to be a "hands on" manager, a team player and an open and honest communicator. You will have autonomy to manage the home with the support of the Registered Manager and wider management team. Your role will be valuable to the ongoing success of the people we support and the organisation as a whole.

You will work a combination of days Monday to Sunday the role is largely supernumerary. As part of this role, you will also assume some on call duties.

Purpose of the role

  • The Deputy Manager will be part of the Home's Senior Management Team with a lead responsibility for management, support and direction of the service.
  • The Deputy Manager will support the Registered Manager to develop the support staff team to have the required skills and training to fulfil their role.
  • The Deputy Manager will assess, plan, implement and evaluate the support of the individuals residing at the service.
  • The Deputy Manager will ensure a high standard of support is provided for the individuals residing in the service. The Deputy Manager will take charge of the running of the service in the absence of the Manager.
  • The Deputy Manager will perform wider management duties to support the ongoing successful running of the home to an exceptional standard.
