Cedar are supporting a Private Sector organisation based in the East Riding of Yorkshire who are looking to hire a Logistics Manager. This is a permanent role with a salary up to £57,500 per annum on offer with additional perks (such as a potential 10% yearly bonus). This role will be based on-site 5 day's per week operating on a 9-5, Monday-Friday basis.

Reporting into the Head of Logistics the Logistics Manager will be responsible for managing all on-site warehouse activities and ensure that the team you will be responsible for managing deliver products on time and to the correct safety and stock standards. The Logistics Manager will also ensure that key metrics are continual hit and regularly reviewed and presented back to the Head of Logistics to help ensure Management Information can be considered and recommendations for improvement/areas of risk can be identified.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

  • Experience working in a Supply Chain, Logistics or Warehouse Management role (minimum of 3 years' experience)
  • Experience leading a medium and/or large warehouse or logistics operation
  • Experience using systems such as SAP and also Microsoft (i.e. PowerPoint) to effectively review and present information to senior managers
  • Experience and/or Understanding of HSE Management, KANBAN systems and lean tools and techniques
  • Degree Level education would be advantageous
