Our client is a leading organisation within their industry, seeking a Warehouse Manager to take full responsibility for on-site warehousing operations. In this role, you will lead a team to meet critical production demands, ensure the effective management of materials, and maintain seamless logistics operations.
The Role
As Warehouse Manager, you will:
- Oversee all on-site warehousing activities, ensuring the team meets production demands while maintaining a strong focus on safety and stock control.
- Support the Head of Logistics by managing material availability to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Monitor and report key operational metrics to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the wider logistics team to anticipate and address production demands.
- Implement governance frameworks and structured work processes to maintain operational excellence.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience leading a medium-to-large warehouse or logistics operation within a blue-chip business.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and stock integrity management.
- A track record of successfully implementing governance frameworks and standardised processes in a logistics setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organisation.
Desirable skills include:
- Experience managing logistics operations supplying materials to complex manufacturing or production lines.
- Knowledge of SAP or other warehouse management systems.
- Understanding of lean tools and techniques, such as KANBAN and kitting solutions.
- A degree-level qualification in a relevant field.
