- Our client, an International IT Service Provider, is seeking a Hardware Engineer for a banking sector customer in Edinburgh.
- The position offers a rate of £24.18 per hour, working 37.5 hours per week and is classified as inside IR35.
- Key responsibilities include providing 3rd Level Hardware break fix support, full IMAC services, and smart hands support for the IT Security team.
- Candidates should ideally have Datacentre experience and be familiar with tools like Part surfer, Intelligent provisioning, and ServiceNow.

RATE: £24.18 PER HOUR (INSIDE IR35)
HOURS: 37.5 PER WEEK
- Providing 3rd Level Hardware break fix to the HPE X86 estate.
- Providing full IMAC service (install/Decom/Moves) across both DC's leveraging the customer and manufactures tools, such as Part surfer, Intelligent provisioning, CMDB, ServiceNow.
- Also providing a smart hands service to customer IT Security team, across all of their Datacentre located kit, from initial troubleshooting up to replacing the entire unit through a RMA process, then installing and providing base configuration for the replacement device to allow IT Security to obtain remote access
- Providing Tape Management (Ejects/loads) for the Remote Backup team. Ideally looking for someone with Datacentre experience
