The role will involve learning and assisting experienced operators in preforming machine set up, daily TPM checks and general machine maintenance and CNC programming.
Key duties:
Participate in a training program to gain knowledge and skills related to punch machine and Brake Press operation, health and safety processes machine set up and maintenance procedures.
Assist in the setup of the punch machine and Brake Press according to machine job cards and specifications, included correct tool selection and die adjustments.
Quality assurance- preform quality checks on parts produced, using manual measuring equipment to check items are correct.
Maintenance and troubleshooting- learning to conduct daily, weekly and monthly maintains on the machine learn how to troubleshoot and resolve minor operating problems with the machine.
Health and safety- learn the health and safety requirement of operating and set up of the punch machine, Brake Press and the fabrication area.
Documentation and reporting- learn to fill out all maintenance records for the machine, complete works orders and route cards with operator stamps.
Skills/Qualifications:
Previous machine operator experience
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work requirements
Problem solving and troubleshooting skills

Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
