Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Production Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working within a stimulating Defence Programme and offers the opportunity to make significant contributions to the manufacturing and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executing precise soldering tasks and ensuring high-quality standards
- Overseeing production processes to maintain efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborating with manufacturing teams to optimise workflows
- Ensuring compliance with Defence Programme requirements and protocols
- Conducting regular quality control checks and troubleshooting production issues
- Documenting production reports and maintaining accurate records
Job Requirements:
- Experience in soldering within a production or manufacturing environment
- Understanding of production processes within the Defence sector
- Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
