Our client, a leading organisation in the Defence and Security sector, is currently seeking a Production Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. This role involves working within a stimulating Defence Programme and offers the opportunity to make significant contributions to the manufacturing and production processes.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing precise soldering tasks and ensuring high-quality standards
  • Overseeing production processes to maintain efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborating with manufacturing teams to optimise workflows
  • Ensuring compliance with Defence Programme requirements and protocols
  • Conducting regular quality control checks and troubleshooting production issues
  • Documenting production reports and maintaining accurate records


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in soldering within a production or manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of production processes within the Defence sector
  • Ability to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
