An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Business and IT to join a successful 11-18 mixed academy in Gosport. As part of a wider trust, this position offers excellent prospects for professional growth and career advancement.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Business and IT lessons across Key Stages 3, and 4 (potentially KS5 in time)
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support all learners
  • Contribute to curriculum development and improvement planning for both subjects
  • Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and digital literacy
  • Prepare students for GCSE and A-level examinations in Business and IT

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Is degree educated in a relevant subject area
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge in both Business and IT
  • Shows commitment to raising student achievement and inspiring future entrepreneurs and tech innovators
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Displays enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
