An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative Teacher of Business and IT to join a successful 11-18 mixed academy in Gosport. As part of a wider trust, this position offers excellent prospects for professional growth and career advancement.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Business and IT lessons across Key Stages 3, and 4 (potentially KS5 in time)
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support all learners
- Contribute to curriculum development and improvement planning for both subjects
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters entrepreneurial thinking and digital literacy
- Prepare students for GCSE and A-level examinations in Business and IT
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Is degree educated in a relevant subject area
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge in both Business and IT
- Shows commitment to raising student achievement and inspiring future entrepreneurs and tech innovators
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Displays enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
