An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Science to join a thriving 11-16 mixed academy in Gosport. As part of a wider trust, this position offers excellent prospects for professional growth and career advancement.
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to support all learners
- Contribute to the department's curriculum development and improvement planning
- Assess and track student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive learning environment that fosters scientific curiosity and academic excellence
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds or is working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Is degree educated in a relevant field and can demonstrate strong subject knowledge.
- Shows commitment to raising student achievement and fostering a love for Science
- Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Displays enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
