Supply Desk are seeking teaching assistants for a primary school in the Fareham area.
Starting from September 2024
Hours: 10 am -2 pm everyday
Supply Desk are proud to be supporting an Ofsted “Good” rated school in the Fareham area who are looking for an SEND TA. This school is a small primary with a community feel within a village close to Fareham. Experience of working with children with additional needs would be an advantage.
Job Description:
- Desire to work with SEND children throughout the school
- Be willing to support children with needs over lunchtime and provide activities and a trusting relationship
- Support in class where needed
- Part time role with the opportunity of a permanent contract
- Location: Close to central Portsmouth
- Start Date: September 2024
- Contract Length: Long Term – Potential to become permanent
- Hours: Part time 20 hours
Individual Profile:
- A nurturing and caring nature
- GCSE Maths and English to A- C grade
- Experience of working with children/young people
- Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
- Adaptable and sensitive when dealing with challenging situations
- First Aid trained or be willing to be trained
