Junior SOC AnalystExciting Opportunity for Cyber Enthusiasts you must hold DV ClearanceWe have an incredible opportunity for a Junior Cyber professional to join a dynamic team and expand your growing Cyber skills due to the nature of the work YOU MUST HOLD CURRENT DV CLEARANCE.If you're passionate about Cyber and Security, this role will give you exposure to cutting-edge technologies and the chance to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be working with SIEM tools like Splunk and ArcSight, so familiarity with SIEM tools is required. We're looking for individuals who are keen to evolve their expertise and are excited about taking on new challenges in Cyber and SOC in a DV Cleared environment defending country critical technology in Defence and National Security.Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and analyse security alerts and events, conducting initial investigations and escalating as necessary.
  • Manage incident queues to ensure timely responses to security incidents.
  • Assist in the improvement of detection rules and use cases using Mitre ATT&CK and threat-informed defence.
  • Support the development and enhancement of SOC processes and procedures to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Work collaboratively to maintain monitored asset baselines in client environments.
What You’ll Need:
  • Experience in a Security Operations Centre environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft ArcSight and Splunk.
  • Basic understanding of key technologies like firewalls, VPNs, anti-virus solutions, client-server apps, and web applications.
  • Active DV Clearance is required for this role.
Bonus Points For:
  • SOC-related certifications such as CREST Practitioner Intrusion Analyst or Blue Teams Level 1.
