We are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our Precision Engineering customerrenowned for its expertise in fabrication, multi-axis CNC, and manual machining workshops.. The successful candidate will work collaboratively to support quality control activities, including dimensional inspections, CMM programming, and compliance with customer requirements. This role offers opportunities for personal and professional development within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and program CMM (PC DMIS 2022).
  • Perform first-off and last-off inspections.
  • Conduct patrol inspections and visual inspections.
  • Manage goods inward inspections.
  • Produce detailed FAIR reports.
  • Control CMM programs, checking methods, and fixturing processes.
  • Support ISO management and QMS activities, including calibration, traceability, and data integrity.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Logical and pragmatic thinking abilities.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering with training in QMS.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment, with experience in CMM and CAD programming.
  • Ability to collate, analyze, interpret, and present information effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer and administrative tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work to production schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Initiative to identify and act on improvement opportunities for self, team, and business operations.
