QUALITY INSPECTOR

Job OverviewWild Recruitment are seeking a Quality Inspector to conduct quality inspection and coordination activities for our client. The candidate will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall productivity of our client

What you will do:

  • Reporting major quality issues to the lead Inspector
  • Working as part of the Inspection team to ensure inspection
  • To provide basic inspection services for:
    • Goods Inwards Inspection
    • Repairs & Returns - incoming and final
    • Final Assembly Inspection
  • Complete inspection activities using standard work
  • Work to inspection schedules as defined under minimal
  • Assisting in the First Article Inspection (FAI) process to ensure all products and updates are inspected, escalate issues to higher
  • Identifying non-conforming parts or products and escalating complex issues to higher levels
  • Notifying senior team member of any errors/inconsistency in inspection requirements
  • Raising non-conforming product reports
  • Support Material Review Board activities (MRB)

Skills:

  • Inspection experience gained in a manufacturing environment
  • Able to interpret Engineering drawings
  • Familiarity with quality disciplines including 8D reporting, 5 Whys and the completion of corrective action reports
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented

This is a temporary position for 6 months

  • Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:45 am to 16:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:00am to 12:30 pm

Total of 37.5hrs/week

Pay: Minimum of £13.00 per hour. This could be increased depending on the right experience
