Procurement Agents Needed.

Multiple Contract Vacancies available to start in Jan/Feb of 2025

Gosport, Yeovil or Bristol + Hybrid working.

37.5hrs per week, Mon-Fri

This is an exciting position working for a globally recognised aviation organization. You will partner with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to expand the service delivery model while ensuring service delivery excellence is provided to all business partners.The ideal candidate must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. They must be flexible to accommodate business requirements that span multiple global time zones, having international experience working with diverse groups and cultures will be an added advantage. Responsibilities:As a member of the Supply Chain Management team, the responsibilities include:

  • Negotiating contracts for products, services and technologies.
  • Engaging stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, product and in-service strategies are integrated into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Optimizing execution of the supply chain balancing inventory, supply orders and schedule demand.
  • Managing supplier/subcontractor performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.
  • Mitigating risks and issues. Initiating supplier improvement activities and provides results for integration into contracting strategies.
  • Performing continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.
  • Preparing and executing proprietary information agreements.
  • Supporting sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Communicating performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

Basic Qualifications:The successful candidate will need to be adaptable and a creative problem solver with the ability to liaise and work alongside a number of functional subject areas to help develop and form the strategic supply chain approach to support the programme.High attention to detail and consistent track record to lead multiple, contending priorities simultaneously.

  • 2+ years of relevant procurement / buyer experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP/ERP knowledge.
