* The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience in the maritime environment, including working with wood, GRP, and on commercial sailing or motorboats.
* Woodworking and Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) repairs.
* Proficiency in Woodwork machinery / Static machinery.
* Knowledge or experience of Gel coat repairs.
* A strong understanding of health and safety practices.
* Knowledge of different timber types and GRP materials.
Desirable:
* Experience in removal and replacement of hatches.
* Formal qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Marine Construction, a Boatbuilding apprenticeship, or similar certification from an International Boatbuilding Training College.
* Candidates without formal qualifications but with demonstrable experience in sailing yacht maintenance, working with power tools, and using woodworking machinery are encouraged to apply.
