Meraki Accountancy & Finance is seeking a Project Accountant for a market-leading client in Scotland undergoing significant changes.
The role involves collaborating with the Financial Controller to meet project accounting needs, including financial analysis and forecasting.
Candidates should possess qualifications such as ICAS, ACCA, or CIMA, with experience considered for those qualified by experience.
The position offers a salary range of £50,000 to £60,000, along with benefits like pension and annual leave.
The work arrangement is hybrid, requiring four days in the office and one day working from home.

Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market leading client are looking to add a Project Accountant to the current team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a historical Scottish name that is going through a period of change. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller and support the project accounting requirements of the team. Key duties of the role include:

Production of financial analysis to support with decision making.
Develop reporting templates to allow automated reports to be produced to promote transparent reporting on project performance.
Monthly and quarterly forecasting of project income and expenditure.
Long- and short-term project cash flow forecasting.
Driving improvements to processes and procedures with a focus of standardising , streamlining and automation.
Lead projects from a financial perspective from tenders to completion.
Identify and implement process improvements around project reporting.

Experience required:

ICAS / ACCA / CIMA – Qualified by experience candidates will be considered for this role.
Able to work to challenging deadlines under pressure.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Able to build relationships at all levels and influence.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
