Meraki Accountancy & Finance’s market leading client are looking to add a Project Accountant to the current team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a historical Scottish name that is going through a period of change. The successful candidate will work closely with the Financial Controller and support the project accounting requirements of the team.  Key duties of the role include:
  • Production of financial analysis to support with decision making.
  • Develop reporting templates to allow automated reports to be produced to promote transparent reporting on project performance.
  • Monthly and quarterly forecasting of project income and expenditure.
  • Long- and short-term project cash flow forecasting.
  • Driving improvements to processes and procedures with a focus of standardising , streamlining and automation.
  • Lead projects from a financial perspective from tenders to completion.
  • Identify and implement process improvements around project reporting.
Experience required:
  • ICAS / ACCA / CIMA – Qualified by experience candidates will be considered for this role.
  • Able to work to challenging deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Able to build relationships at all levels and influence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
