QC Analyst

As a QC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise will directly support our manufacturing plants, providing vital analytical services and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality control analysis on effluent, occupational hygiene, and environmental samples.
  • Analyse, check, and ensure product quality conforms to manufacturing specifications.
  • Maintain and calibrate analytical equipment according to departmental quality systems.
  • Monitor analytical equipment performance and perform maintenance as needed.
  • Carry out additional QC testing, including in-process, final, and experimental analyses.
  • Participate in departmental continuous improvement projects.

What We're Looking For:

  • Analytical Expertise: Proficient in various analytical techniques, including G.C. and L.C. operations.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with Agilent instrumentation and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt to varying workloads.
  • Experience: Operational experience in GC and LC maintenance is essential. Knowledge in occupational hygiene monitoring and environmental monitoring is a plus.

Education:

    • A minimum of HNC or equivalent in a science or engineering-related discipline is required.
