Role and Requirements

We condone attitude over aptitude and are believers in giving good people opportunity to prove their value and progress in life through hard work and dedication.
Our role involves the cleaning and presentation of Shipping Containers for our Prestigious Client. This is a 2-stage process where the unit is cleaned inside and out, the second stage being that the container is lined inside in readiness for goods to be placed within. This process is locally referred to as 'de-cant'. The cleaning does present a 'working at height' expectation, of approx 8-9ft, and training will be given, together with a competence for the wearing of a harness for the task.
This is a physical role and requires good health and fitness plus the ability to work in confined areas (within the container at times).
This is a small team, so a Team Player attitude is essential with the ability to get along and ensure each other's H&S is paramount.
For the right candidate, full training is available, so experience is required, just a willingness to work hard, be safe, reliable, punctual and have a pride in what they do.
Long term, the opportunity may present itself to be made a permanent member of staff plus be mentored and taught to operate a small reach stacker machine, which would bring all the usual benefits of working for a Globally recognised organisation plus appropriate lift in remuneration commensurate with the additional responsibilities of the role.

A full clean driving licence is required.

Desirable:
Proven experience of manual work as part of a small team
Excellent knowledge of H&S at work requirements and procedures
Live within a 30-minute commute of Grangemouth
Be able to get to and from work during the operational times as laid out above
Happy to work outdoors

If you feel that this is an opportunity that you would like to make your own, then please get in touch. We can teach skills, but a positive mental attitude is ingrained.

If successful, all offers will be conditional on passing a Network Rail related Medical and Drug & Alcohol check
Interested parties should contact Mark Smith on (phone number removed) or send their CV to (url removed)
