As a Hire Desk Controller, you will be required to:

  • Ensure the smooth running of Key Accounts and General Orders
  • Process on/off hire orders accurately in the InspHire system
  • Maintain a complete manual contract file with all relevant paperwork
  • Liaise with the Transport Department for timely equipment movements
  • Handle customer queries efficiently and update your Line Manager on any delays
  • Promote teamwork and cooperation within the company
  • Ensure all incoming calls are answered promptly and professionally

Candidate Requirements:

  • GCSE in English and Maths
  • Confidence with IT systems, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and follow instructions
  • Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
