Long Term Futures is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join one of our valued partner schools in Grantham, part of a forward-thinking and supportive Multi-Academy Trust. This setting provides tailored education for young people aged 5-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH.
  • Assist in preparing engaging lessons and educational resources.
  • Support pupils' emotional well-being and encourage positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate closely with teaching staff, therapists, and support teams.
  • Supervise students during both classroom and outdoor activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEMH or SEN (essential).
  • A calm, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviours effectively.
  • A genuine passion for making a difference in education.
