Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Grantham
Salary: 40,000 + Benefits
Working Hours: (12 hours, 4 on 4 off) - Day/Nights
About Us
We are seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who will collaborate with the engineering team to carry out daily maintenance tasks, ensuring all work aligns with Health & Safety regulations and site policies. Your efforts will be key in maintaining machinery and equipment, helping to ensure a smooth and efficient operations environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with Health & Safety Regulations and follows Safe Systems of Work.
- Conduct planned maintenance on machinery and equipment within a fast-paced environment.
- Proactively identify and resolve recurring issues through root cause analysis, implementing solutions to improve equipment reliability.
- Collaborate with the wider engineering team to improve operational processes and performance.
About You
The ideal candidate will have experience within mechanical maintenance of plant machinery in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications & Experience:
- NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) or an apprenticeship.
- Prior experience in planned and reactive maintenance roles is essential
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving recurring issues.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with colleagues at all levels within the business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
