We are seeking an accounts assistant who is adaptable, organised, and above all a motivated individual, capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a small team.

For this key role you will have experience of working within a finance team and have a good working knowledge of double entry bookkeeping and Excel and Sage50
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
The ideal candidate will be having a proactive attitude and the willingness to muck in and complement the existing team that is currently in place
You will be assisting Company Directors and General Manager with a variety of accountancy and general administration duties including:
reconciling financial statements
front line local audit and data accuracy checks
provide data analysis and reports
About you:
If you hold an AAT qualification or are working towards one this would ideal
Experience working in a financial services environment preferable but not essential
Experience of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills
Are you detailed orientated and have a high attention to detail in regards your own output
An outgoing personality and willing to support colleagues in other areas.

What's on offer?
My client offers a salary range of 25,000 to £28,000 per annum alongside 22 days holiday plus bank holidays and free parking within Grantham Town Centre.
