Isaac James Associates is delighted to be working with a leading manufacturing business to appoint a Finance Assistant into their busy team.

Working with the Group Finance Team, the purpose of this role is to review the existing Fixed Asset register and group polices, and implement those policies across a suite of businesses now under a common ownership.

What skills do I need?

We are looking for an AAT Qualified Accountant with a solid understanding of controls and the calculation of depreciation across a large and varied Fixed Asset base.

You will have experience preparing year end journals, having calculated the appropriate depreciation and amortisation charge.

You’ll have the attention to detail to be able to review multiple varying legacy Fixed Asset Depreciation policies and work to incorporate the asset base into a common set of Group Polices, consistent with a global common ownership structure.

You will also be an integral part of recoding ongoing Acquisitions, ensuring the appropriate Group amortisation Policies are rigorously implemented across the Group.
