We are looking for a motivated and skilled Laser Operator to join our clients dynamic team and help us maintain our commitment to excellence.

Job Description:

As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for running our Trumpf fibre laser cutting machine, ensuring precision and efficiency in the operation of the equipment. We seek an enthusiastic individual who enjoys hands-on work, is fit and active, and can adapt to various tasks, including some computer-based responsibilities. Once you have developed confidence in operating the machine, you will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Trumpf fibre laser cutting machine to produce high-quality cut parts based on engineering specifications.
• Set up and calibrate the laser machine, adjusting parameters as needed for different material thicknesses and types.
• Monitor the machine during operations to ensure optimal performance and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
• Manage stock levels of materials, including metal sizes and thicknesses, and assist in inventory control practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating laser cutting machines, specifically Trumpf models, is preferred but not necessary.
• Some familiarity with metal materials, sizes, and thicknesses is an advantage.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and handle physical work.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
