The School and Role

This smaller than average-sized primary school is looking for a teaching assistant to work in a Year 1 class. You will provide general classroom support as well as some small group work. This role would suit someone with excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum, ideally someone who has worked in Year 1 recently. Even though this is a temporary contract the chosen teaching assistant will have the full support of the SLT and be expected to be fully involved and committed to the school’s needs.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
