- Financial Reporting – Producing accurate monthly accounts and delivering key financial insights.
- Payroll & Compliance – Managing payroll and handling statutory submissions, including VAT and CIS.
- Commercial Finance – Partnering with key stakeholders to provide financial analysis that drives decision-making.
- Process Improvement – Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and financial accuracy.
- Cash Flow & Controls – Managing bank reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and credit control.
- Audit & Governance – Overseeing the annual audit process and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Leadership & Development – Supporting and mentoring an Accounts Assistant, fostering their professional growth.
- A qualified accountant (or QBE) with proven experience in a similar financial leadership role.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to interpret reports and provide commercial insights.
- Experience managing and developing staff in a finance setting.
- Excellent organisational skills, able to balance multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Excel and accounting software.
