Role Requirements
  • Be self-disciplined and motivated
  • Possess excellent people skills - ability to build rapport effectively and professionally with colleagues, clients, and external contacts
  • Be able to prioritise and effectively manage a varied workload to ensure deadlines are met consistently
  • Have excellent written communication skills - especially in composing letters to clients and HMRC
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Be able to learn new software applications quickly
  • Have experience in using Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and MS Office
  • Have more than 3-5 years of experience in an Accountancy Practice as a Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper
  • Possess the ability to take initiative and think strategically
  • Be AAT/ACCA/ICAEW qualified
Role Responsibilities
  • Coordination, preparation, and submission of annual accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and companies
  • Preparation and submission of CT600 and VAT Returns
  • Preparation of SATR to include supplementary pages when required
  • Computing income tax and CIS liabilities and advising clients accordingly
  • Resolving accounts and tax queries and administering general correspondence from clients, HMRC, and other external organisations/individuals
  • Preparing and issuing quotes for new accounts and tax-related services
  • Onboarding new clients
  • Preparing and issuing invoices to clients
  • Other duties commensurate with the position of Senior Accountant
