We're on the lookout for a skilled and driven Building Surveyor, with damp and mould experience to join our client, a family friendly company based in Northfleet, Kent.

Based in Northfleet, with regular site visits throughout Kent, you will be responsible for providing excellent and professional surveying service under the supervision of the Building and Planning Manager. You'll wear many hats, from meticulously inspecting buildings and managing documentation to interpreting plans, liaising with diverse stakeholders, and recommending improvements to meet building regulations.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

A Building Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification.

Extensive maintenance surveying experience, (with damp and mould experience) under your belt.

Experience of CDM 2015 principles and their practical application.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to keep everyone informed and engaged.

The ability to identify potential problems, analyse options, and find solutions in any situation.

Comprehensive knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in the construction industry.

Good IT skills/knowledge of Microsoft office applications.

A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel for projects throughout Kent and beyond.

It will be an added advantage if you have Fire Engineering or equivalent Fire Qualifications and experience, and desirable if you have IFE or IFSM Membership.
