Are you a skilled and driven Building Surveyor looking for an exciting new opportunity? My client, family-friendly company based in Gravesend, Kent, are seeking an experienced professional to join our team!

As a successful and expanding Building and Electrical services provider, they continue to grow, they are now looking for a Building Surveyor to help achieve their vision and support the development growth of the team.

Your Role:

Based in Gravesend, with regular site visits throughout Kent, you will be responsible for providing professional surveying services under the guidance of the Building and Planning Manager. You will manage a variety of tasks, from inspecting buildings and managing documentation to interpreting plans, liaising with stakeholders, and recommending improvements to meet building regulations.

What You'll Need:

  • A Building Surveying Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Extensive maintenance surveying experience.
  • Knowledge of CDM 2015 principles and their practical application.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, analyze options, and find solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety regulations in the construction industry.
  • Good IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
  • A valid UK driving license and a willingness to travel for projects throughout Kent and beyond.

Bonus Skills:

  • Fire Engineering qualifications or experience.
  • Experience with damp surveying
  • Membership in IFE or IFSM is desirable.
