Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Credit Controller to join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to competently and diligently liaise with clients in relation to overdue debts.

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £26,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 4 days working from home after probation.

This is a full-time, permanent role (The hours of work will be 09:00 – 17:00 including a 1 hour lunch.

Reporting to the hiring manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Competently and diligently liaise with clients in relation to overdue debts
  • Liaise with the Group AR TL to advise on possible escalations to him
  • Pinpoint and highlight potential bad debts before they arise
  • Uploading invoice information onto client websites/portals
  • Dealing with invoice queries, PO issues etc.
  • Allocate cash receipts on your allotted section of the sale ledger


The ideal candidate:

  • Experience in credit control demonstrating a strong understanding of related processes, challenges and terms.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive continuous improvement.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to a role that evolves with client, TL and business  requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident telephone manner and the ability to set out your requirements effectively.
