Attega Group is currently partnering exclusively with our client in recruiting a Credit Controllerto join the team.The main purpose of this role is to competently and diligently liaise with clients in relation to overdue debts.In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £26,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus 4 days working from home after probation.
This is a full-time, permanent role (The hours of work will be 09:00 – 17:00 including a 1 hour lunch. Reporting to the hiring manager your responsibilities will include:
- Competently and diligently liaise with clients in relation to overdue debts
- Liaise with the Group AR TL to advise on possible escalations to him
- Pinpoint and highlight potential bad debts before they arise
- Uploading invoice information onto client websites/portals
- Dealing with invoice queries, PO issues etc.
- Allocate cash receipts on your allotted section of the sale ledger
The ideal candidate:
- Experience in credit control demonstrating a strong understanding of related processes, challenges and terms.
- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and drive continuous improvement.
- A flexible and adaptable approach to a role that evolves with client, TL and business requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a confident telephone manner and the ability to set out your requirements effectively.
