Customer Service Advisor / Gravesend / 6 Month Contract to Permanent / Up to £30,000Our client is a leading global distributor and are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor on a permanent basis after an initial 6-month FTC. You will be building strong relationships with customers on the telephone, overseeing all orders, liaising with key colleagues to ensure everything is in place to guarantee deliveries within lead time. You will handle all customer enquiries. Duties will include:
  • Be the first point of contact for all customer requests for orders and any enquires
  • Processing customer orders on the system and liaising with internal departments to ensure the order is fulfilled
  • Build strong relationship with customer to understand their needs, have weekly update calls with key accounts
  • Manage and oversee customer deliveries keeping the customer fully informed of timelines
  • Takes ownership of challenges and following through to ensure deliver as promised to the customer, collaborating with colleagues being the voice of the customers
  • Investigate complaints and help provide solutions to irradicate future issues
Essential Skills:
  • 2-3 years previous experience in a demanding customer service environment
  • IT proficient in MS package, intermediate to advance in Excel
  • Ability to work in a fast-changing, dynamic environment
  • An additional language in particular French, Spanish, Portuguese is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills – a relationship builder
