Job Title: Year One Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: Gravesend
Pay: £160 - £210 per day (via PAYE)
Start Date: April 2025 (1 year fixed contract)

Vision for Education is working in partnership with a charming one-form entry school in Gravesend to find a nurturing, passionate and dedicated Year One Teacher for a one year fixed contract.
We are looking for a Teacher who can;
- Create and manage a caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment which is conducive to children’s learning
- Plan and teach lessons which meet the needs of all children and ensure they can reach their full potential
- Recognise that each child is unique and adapt teaching styles appropriately to facilitate effective learning experiences
- Effectively monitor and assess children’s progress and evaluate their own teaching on a regular basis
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Be committed to upholding the positive ethos and core values of the school
- Work cohesively as part of a team environment
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
