Maintenance Plasterer wanted ASAP Permanent role£34,000 - £36,000 starting salary plus vanThis is a mobile role, based out of Dartford but covering Kent, Sussex and London.Full Manual driving licence requiredHold City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 as a minimum Hays Construction & Property is working with a major property service provider who carries out duties for a large housing association. We are looking for a highly skilled and qualified Maintenance Plasterer.Having recently taken on additional contracts, they need to bolster and expand their maintenance team. We are looking for a hard-working individual, with a proven track record of working on similar projects within a similar industry sector.Key ResponsibilitiesPossess excellent technical skills in all areas of plasteringHave the creative ability to construct realistic and effective props and materialsPlaster and fix fibrous material to film sets so they look authentic and harmonise with surrounding period detailsProduce 'perfect' plasterworkProduce effective, distressed plasterworkHave a good eye for detail.Visualise the finished projectUnderstanding complex drawings, specifications and technical literatureResponsible for maintaining van stockEnsure all PPE is provided and presented prior to engaging in the task.Ensure you have materials and equipment provided before you undertake taskEnsure that the task is deliverable within the time allocationEnsure all work does not present a hazard or danger to othersEnsure all H&S documentation (RAMS) is present prior to engaging on task Experience Must have a full UK driving licencePrevious experience as a qualified Plasterer is preferredAbility to use hand toolsAbility to operate small handheld plant such as drills and mixersMust be able to follow written and verbal instructionsCity and Guilds in plastering 6708, levels 1,2 plus 3Diploma in plastering level 1 or 2NVQ Level 2 PlasterworkCSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card Benefits
