We are seeking a diligent Accounts and Office Administrator to join our team. This role involves managing financial documents, handling billing inquiries, and maintaining office supplies. The position offers flexible working hours, allowing for a spread across 5 days or concentrated into 3 days.
Day-to-day of the role:- Efficiently handle customer invoices and credit notes.
- Promptly and accurately resolve customer billing queries.
- Precisely allocate payments to maintain accurate financial records.
- Conduct thorough bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
- Implement measures to manage outstanding payments effectively.
- Upload and process documents efficiently.
- Oversee the accounting email inbox, ensuring timely responses and organisation.
- Reconcile payments, process receipts and chase invoices and payments daily.
- Process payments, create quotes and invoices and monitor emails and phone calls at the end of each month.
- Proven experience in accounts and office administration.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes including invoicing, credit control, and bank reconciliation.
- Proficiency in using financial software like Xero.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
