CRP Group are currently working with a next-generation electric vehicle company, currently searching forService Centre Parts Advisor based local to Thurrock, operating within the Greater London area.

As Parts Advisor you will be responsible for effectively and responsively controlling all parts stock holding for the Service Centre site to include any warranty and or campaign parts held at the location.

You will coordinate supplies, orders, return parts, part exchange and warranty units, as required for the workshop.

There is a degree of manual handling associated with this role and will require the occasional use of a hand pallet truck and a gas-powered forklift. FLT licence desirable however training can be provided.

Manage ALL Service Centre stock/tooling on site, for the Field Technician Vehicles and at Customer locations to reflect current and projected requirements

Ensure the safe storage of hazardous materials in line with Health and Safety, and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) guidelines.

Use all available resources to accurately identify parts prior to supply/order.

Ensure all parts issued are booked to job cards immediately and for off site stock within 24 hours.

Liaise with suppliers to obtain required parts to meet deadlines reducing VOR costs and increasing Customer Experience.

Conduct weekly perpetual stock checks with a minimum of all stock is counted at least once in each financial year. High value discrepancies to be investigated.

Parts Advisor: 11:00 19:00 Mon to Friday. Alternate Saturdays 06:00 14:00. This would be factored in with 1 day off during the week which will be agreed with candidate.
