This vacancy presents a brilliant opportunity for a Service Centre Parts Advisor to join a forward-thinking organisation who are a global leader in the design, development, and manufacturing of electric vehicles and is offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Service Centre Parts Advisor Role:

  • Manage the stock and tooling on site, in Field Technician Vehicles and at Customer locations to reflect current and projected requirements (shelf stock holding).
  • Ensure the safe storage of hazardous materials in line with Health and Safety, and COSHH guidelines.
  • Use all available resources to accurately identify parts prior to supply/order.
  • Ensure all parts issued are booked to job cards.
  • Liaise with suppliers to obtain required parts to meet deadlines reducing VOR costs and increasing Customer Experience.
  • Place orders and coordinate deliveries to customer’s premises, Field Technician or to head office.
  • Conduct weekly stock checks.
  • Liaise with off-site engineers, supplying correct parts to meet deadlines.
  • Deal with warranty returns and carry out weekly disposal of displaced parts.
  • Place orders and receive parts accurately and methodically.
  • Collection and delivery of parts and supplies, as and when required.
  • Maintain housekeeping of storage and working area ensuring H&S criteria met.

Service Centre Parts Advisor Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Parts Advisor role or similar
  • Experienced in Microsoft word and excel.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to plan and manage own diary.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise accordingly.
  • Good communication skills – able to liaise with colleagues at all levels and customers.
  • Ability to implement processes and recommend new ideas.
  • Forklift trained would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Experience of using ERP/SAP inventory systems.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Working Hours: 11:00 – 19:00 – Mon to Friday. Alternate Saturdays 06:00 – 14:00
