A client of ours is on the lookout for an energetic and visionary Nursery Manager to spearhead their vibrant early years setting in Lakeside, Grays. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & Inspire: Provide dynamic leadership and direction to the nursery team, fostering a positive culture where children and staff can flourish.
  • Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and motivate a passionate group of early years professionals, championing continuous training and personal growth.
  • Engaging Curriculum: Collaborate with the team to design and implement a creative, play-based curriculum that sparks curiosity and supports each child’s developmental milestones.
  • Compliance & Quality: Uphold all nursery policies and procedures while maintaining full compliance with Ofsted and relevant legislation, ensuring a high standard of safety and care.
  • Strong Partnerships: Build lasting relationships with parents and carers, offering a supportive and welcoming atmosphere where families feel valued and involved.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgets and resource planning effectively, maintaining healthy occupancy levels to support the ongoing success and expansion of the nursery.
  • Innovation & Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance the nursery’s practices, embracing fresh ideas and feedback to keep the setting at the forefront of early years education.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years/Childcare (e.g. NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
  • Proven track record in a managerial or senior supervisory role within an early years setting.
  • Expert knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Ofsted requirements.
  • A motivational leader who can unite and uplift the nursery team.
  • Confident communicator with a passion for delivering exceptional childcare and customer service.
