Success Recruit are currently working with a premium business in the Travel & Hospitality sector, with offices based in Thurrock. They are currently seeking a Cruise Turnaround Coordinatorto join their growing, passionate team.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Turnaround Manager, assisting with the administration & coordination of guest turnarounds, associated transfers, and guest movement. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven customer service professional, with a passion for travel and seeking long-term career progression within this sector.
The successful Cruise Turnaround Coordinator expectations:
- Experience working within customer service / administration - (a background in travel, hotels, or hospitality is highly desirable but not essential)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Capable of working to deadlines and maintaining a high level of organisation
- A confident, professional demeanour, accompanied with a 'can-do’ customer-centric attitude
- Driving Licence required

Job Specification / Purpose of the role:
The Cruise Turnaround Coordinator will act as the duty coordinator for all guest turnarounds; ensuring the smooth & efficient running of embarkation and disembarkation of the ship from regional ports. This is an office-based position, working closely with both onboard and landside crew members.
The successful candidate will enjoy building strong, long-lasting relationships with third party suppliers and external business partners.
Duties to include but not limited to…
- Coordinating & preparing pre-cruise sailing reports for the ships, detailing all relevant information to ensure efficient turnarounds,
- Communicating pre-cruise and turnaround information with onboard teams and port partners
- Attending turnarounds at home & regional ports
- Coordinating visitor requests to their ships in line with security policies
- Coordinating the return of Lost Property onboard
- Scheduling and booking pre & post cruise coach programs
- Supporting with the resolution of guest complaints and implementing necessary follow-up actions
- Assisting with administration for guest movements worldwide (including but not limited to turnarounds, flights, hotels, transfers, coaching and car parking)
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm (office based 3 days a week, with 2 days from home). Flexibility to work an occasional Saturday or Sunday is a requirement.
Salary: Circa £25K (DOE)
