Banksman

A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for aBanksmanfor a permanent role on behalf of our client, a reputable recycling company based in West Thurrock

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in traffic management entering site
• Ensure no traffic is waiting on the road and manage to a practical safe manner
• Manage flow of traffic to prevent queues and adhere to contracted turnaround times.
• Ensure Traffic Management Plan is being followed on site
• Waste Acceptance Procedure / Contaminated Load Procedure
• Oversee Health & Safety Compliance on site (PPE, Banksman duties etc).
• Report any unsafe findings to inline Manager
• Communication with the Weighbridge and Site Operators
• Radio Checks
• Complete Housekeeping duties assigned
• Work inline with Site Maintenance and Working Schedule Jet Wash/Hose monitoring
• Provide cover of Weighbridge Operator

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Good communication and signaling skills.
• Ability to assess and respond to potential hazards quickly.
• Attention to detail and situational awareness.

Hours:

Monday to Friday: 6am-5pm
